Heirloom & Co. ("we", "us") creates handmade audio keepsakes. We take the privacy of your personal information — and especially the voice recordings you entrust to us — seriously. This policy explains what we collect, why, and how we protect it.
What we collect
- Order details you provide through Etsy or directly: name, email, the personalization text for your keepsake, and shipping/contact details where relevant.
- Audio and image files you send us to create your keepsake — voice messages, recordings, heartbeats, sonograms, and photos.
- Basic website analytics (page views, device type) if you visit this site. We do not sell this data.
How we use your information
- To design, produce, and deliver the keepsake you ordered.
- To host the audio behind your keepsake's QR code so it can be played back when scanned.
- To contact you about your order, send proofs, and provide support.
Your audio & the QR code
The audio behind your keepsake is stored privately and served only through a unique, unguessable link tied to your keepsake's QR code. The link is not listed in any public directory. You may ask us to update or remove the audio at any time.
How we store & protect it
Files are stored in private, access-controlled cloud storage. Playback links are short-lived and signed. We retain your files only as long as needed to provide and support your keepsake, and we remove them on request.
Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with the service providers needed to fulfill your order (for example, our payment platform Etsy, and our cloud hosting provider), and only to the extent required to deliver your keepsake.
Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data and uploaded files at any time. Email us and we'll act on it promptly.
Children
Our products are purchased by adults. We do not knowingly collect data directly from children. Keepsakes that feature a child (for example, a baby's heartbeat) are ordered and controlled by a parent or guardian.
