1. What We Collect
To create your audio keepsake, we collect:
- Voice recordings and audio files you send us to turn into soundwave art
- Your email address for order communication and proof delivery
- Your shipping address when a physical print is ordered
- Your name as provided during checkout on Etsy or direct order
2. How We Use Your Data
Your audio and personal information are used exclusively to:
- Generate your soundwave art and QR code
- Deliver your proof and final keepsake
- Communicate with you about your order
We never sell, share, or use your voice recordings for any other purpose. We do not train AI models on your audio. We do not publish or redistribute your recordings.
3. Data Storage & Retention
- Audio files are stored on Supabase (encrypted at rest and in transit) and are retained for 30 days after your order is delivered, then permanently deleted.
- QR codes and soundwave art files are retained for 90 days in case you need a reprint, then deleted.
- Order information (email, name, shipping) is retained as required by Etsy's records policy and applicable law.
You may request immediate deletion of your audio and personal data at any time by emailing hello@heirloomandco.shop.
4. Third-Party Services
We use the following services to operate:
- Etsy — payment processing and order management (see Etsy's Privacy Policy)
- Supabase — secure audio file storage and database hosting
- Vercel — website hosting
Each provider has its own privacy policy and data handling practices.
5. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- Request deletion of your audio files and personal data
- Withdraw consent at any time (this does not affect the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal)

6. Children's Privacy
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version is always available at this page. Material changes will be communicated via email for active customers.
