1. The Product

Heirloom & Co. creates personalized soundwave art — a visual representation of your audio paired with a QR code that plays the recording when scanned with any modern smartphone. All keepsakes are handmade on a per-order basis.

2. What You Receive

All keepsakes are delivered as high-resolution digital files (printable at home or through any print service). Physical prints are available on select listings. The listing description on Etsy specifies exactly what is included in each order.

Frames, props, and decorative items shown in listing photos are for display only and are not included unless explicitly stated in the listing.

3. Ordering & Proof Process

• After purchase, you send us your audio file (any format — voice memo, video, MP3).
• We create a proof within 24 hours and send it to the email associated with your order.
• You may request revisions. We revise until you approve.
• Once approved, we deliver the final files (and ship any physical prints, if ordered).

If we don't receive your audio within 7 days of purchase, we'll follow up. Orders without audio after 30 days may be canceled and refunded.

4. Audio Requirements

The QR code works by analyzing the sound waveform. For best results:

• The recording should be at least 3 seconds long
• Any recording quality works — grainy voicemails, old videos, and quiet recordings are all fine
• If we genuinely cannot map the audio, we'll let you know within the proof window and offer a full refund

5. Intellectual Property

• Your audio stays yours. You retain all rights to the recordings you send us.
• We retain rights to the soundwave art design and generated QR code artwork created for your order.
• We never publish, share, or use your personal audio for any purpose beyond creating your keepsake.

6. Limitation of Liability

Heirloom & Co. is not liable for:

• Third-party QR scanning issues caused by the user's device, camera, or internet connection
• Audio file degradation if the original recording provided is of extremely poor quality
• Shipping delays or damage by postal carriers for physical print orders (these are covered by Etsy's Purchase Protection)

Our total liability for any claim is limited to the purchase price of your order.

7. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where Heirloom & Co. operates. Any disputes shall be resolved through Etsy's dispute resolution process where applicable, or through direct communication.

8. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms. The version in effect at the time of your purchase applies to that order. The latest version is always available at this page.
